dr. Jovena Chan
Bachelor of Dental Science
Master of Dental Surgery (Paediatric Dentistry)
Dr Jovena Chan's passion for paediatric dentistry blossomed during her undergraduate course at the University of Queensland, Australia, where she discovered her strong love for children as well as being their dentist!
After working for 2 years in a public hospital in Singapore, she decided to further her interests by pursuing a Master of Dental Surgery in Paediatric Dentistry at the National University of Singapore.
This marked the start of her journey towards providing quality evidence-based dental care and reimagining a modern approach to dental care for children.
Dr Jovena has special interests in dental trauma and management of children with special needs.
She founded My Little Teeth Children's Dental Clinic as she believes that children can be taught to appreciate and even look forward to their dental visits, and hopes to have only smiles from them in the clinic.
Dr. Lim Wanyi
Bachelor of Dental Surgery Master of Dental Surgery (paediatric Dentistry)
Dr Lim Wanyi graduated from the NUS Faculty of Dentistry in 2007 and discovered a special affinity for treating young patients during her early days as a dental officer. With 12 years of experience in public service at the Health Promotion Board's School Dental Service, Dr Lim has successfully managed a diverse range of dental conditions amongst school children. As the Deputy Director of the Student Dental Centre, Dr Lim has also spearheaded public health initiatives to improve children's oral health. This included the toothbrushing activity in pre-schools and the preschool dental screening activities.
A mother of three, she finds fulfillment in sharing her oral health tips, and seeks to transform dental visits into positive and pleasant experiences for children.
Dr Lim is also currently teaching in the postgraduate Paediatric Dentistry programme at the National University of Singapore.
